9th Green Energy Summit

In harmony with the content of the Power Forum, the Theme of the Summit will be “New Energies – Agenda 2020”.

Challenges posed by the Climate Change have brought green energies to the centre stage. Two pillars of the National Action Plan on Climate Change are Development of Renewable Energy, especially Solar and Energy Efficiency. To sustain India’s growth it is imperative to develop all viably available energy sources. We must draw out a systematic medium/long term Technology Map for green energy sources and also ensure that we use available energy in most efficient manner for all our needs including commercial, domestic, housing and transportation.
